Today’s topic is APM. A popular Monaco jewelry brand who is famous for launching new collections for every two weeks!
As a loyal fan, I have to say its packaging attributes a lot to its sales volume.
Here is the latest collection I bought online.
There are three sets of packaging.
Let’s open the 1st box. It is an unfoldable magnetic paper box with rope handle, navy blue color with embossed black gold metallic foil logo. The paper here used is “velvet paper” which is comparatively expensive then other paper but with nice touching texture. With a handle, you can carry it as a packaging bag if you need to send it as a gift to your friend.
Inside the box is an envelope with same material and printing technic. It is sealed but can be easily open without destroy the paper. Inside is an A4 invoice with item code, quantity and care instruction and return policy details.
Behind the envelope is a brochure introducing its custom-made bangle.
Underneath, two gift boxes wrapped with ribbon bow is fixed in the box insert divider. There is a card written in MONACO language showing this is an real item not fake. The ribbon itself is glued at the bottom of the box, so even you untide the bow, it is still attaching to the box. The inside of box is covered of very soft velvet material, so scratches will not easily leave on the jewelry.
Inside the gift box is a cotton drawstring pouch with embroidery logo, this is a very space saved and practical packaging when we are on trips. My earrings and necklace are fastened to the velvet display plate. There is a divider inside the jewelry pouch, separating different jewelry easily rather then mess them up.
Under the jewelry bag is a jewelry wiper with embossed logo. It is for cleaning the finger marks and sweat to protect the jewelry surface.
As a retail customer, I am more than satisfied with the delicate packaging idea introduced till now. But we have two more exquisite jewelry boxes packed in magnetic boxes. One is a purple velvet box with embroidery pattern and logo, and the other one is wrapped in denim fabric with embossed logo leather patch inside.
Isn’t it amazing? I believe no body will want to return the goods because it is much worthy then the money I paid. All I expected is a pair of earrings and a necklace, but here is what I’ve got:

Of course above price is just a very general range based on my experience in packaging industry. Different size, design, printing technics, material, all these factors may lead to price different.
